Accessibility
At Murgitroyd, we recognise the importance of creating a digital space that is accessible to all. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) lay out the necessary requirements for designers and developers to enhance accessibility for individuals with disabilities. These guidelines classify conformance into three levels: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
We are proud that our website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. While this means we've made significant progress in ensuring our content is accessible, it also indicates that certain parts of our content may not fully align with the accessibility standard. Rest assured, we are continuously working towards improving our site's accessibility.
This page outlines the features we've integrated into our website to ensure accessibility for all website users.
Text Size
If the size of the text is difficult to read, it can be adjusted to a size that suits you better:
- Google Chrome – click More, beside Zoom click ‘+’ to make everything smaller and ‘-‘ to make everything smaller
- Windows Internet Explorer – click View, then the ‘Text Size’ menu.
- Macintosh Internet Explorer – click View, then the ‘Text Zoom’ menu.
- Firefox and other Mozilla browsers – click View, then the ‘Increase Text Size’ option.
- Safari – click View, then ‘Make Text Bigger’.
If you're using a wheel mouse, it’s possible to zoom in and out by holding Control or Command on your keyboard and moving the wheel. Some browsers allow you to change the text size using Control or Command and clicking ‘+’ or ‘-‘.
