Lorraine Duffy

Lorraine Duffy is an experienced Patent Paralegal based in our Munich Office. Lorraine started her career in Intellectual Property as a European Patent Formalities Officer at the European Patent Office before joining Murgitroyd in 2014 therefore has a fantastic understanding of European Procedures from both perspectives as well as a great understanding of the specific formalities requirements for European Applications.

Lorraine’s responsibilities include preparing & filing patent applications, reporting prosecution and formalities matters in diverse jurisdictions all around the globe; including Oppositions in Europe and Germany, Assignments, Taking Over representation and portfolio management. She works with a wide range of clients, including large international corporate clients as well as SMEs and small local clients, and has a reputation for efficiency as well as be reliable and responsive.

Lorraine is also a key member of our employee advocacy group The Trailblazers and was voted by her peers Murgitroyd Employee of the year in 2022.
