Gillian Scott

Gillian Scott joined Murgitroyd as part of the addition of the UDL team to the Murgitroyd team in October 2021.

She is an experienced CIPA qualified patent paralegal based in our Newcastle Office and works alongside our attorneys and paralegals in supporting clients throughout the patent process from filing to grant in a number of jurisdictions. In addition to dealing with formality requirements for patents and patent applications worldwide, she assists clients with tracking the status of their patent portfolios and the associated costs and ensures that bespoke administrative arrangements requested by clients are implemented and maintained.

Gillian’s responsibilities include preparing & filing patent applications, reporting and monitoring deadlines, preparing and handling formalities matters in diverse jurisdictions all around the globe, preparing and filing recordals of transfer and changes to the national/regional registers.
