Community outreach
Our Community Outreach team champions volunteering, educational initiatives, and entrepreneur support, with a particular focus on the legal industry and intellectual property.
Murgitroyd is committed to supporting communities close to our office network as well as other communities across the world.
Our Community Outreach team is a key part of our Impact group, working closely with our other teams such as the Environmental Engagement and Charitable Giving team, to coordinate our activities in supporting our communities.
The team regularly engages with colleagues, offering the opportunity to take part in volunteering their time and their skills. We are also active within the education sector, regularly opening our doors to work experience pupils as well as taking part in career presentations and competitions with local schools and universities. We are also engaging with students at university fairs and supporting initiatives such as the Festival of Youth event. We continue to support events promoting sciences and early-stage entrepreneurs too. Our ten-year sponsorship of the Converge Challenge for universities is one such example of our outreach activities within the education sector.
Within the legal industry, we actively support the work of IP Inclusive and have recently supported their “Careers in Ideas” initiative.
